A 10-minute drive across the Peace River towards Port Charlotte takes you to Murdock Circle. Here you will find Port Charlotte Town Center Mall, a huge air-conditioned indoor shopping mall with all the favourite chain stores such as JC Penney, Sears, Macy's, Bealls and Dillard's. It also offers an exciting mix of 82 speciality retailers and one of Florida's largest food courts located in an indoor shopping mall. The mall is conveniently located just minutes from I-75 on U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) in Port Charlotte. |

Just over the Myakka River is the historic city of Punta Gorda. There are many art galleries, boutiques and antique shops along the main shopping street. It is also home to Fisherman's Village which is a beautiful pier with some very interesting and quaint local shops for you to explore. |

| Heading further South towards Fort Myers you will come across a huge designer outlet store, which attracts people from all over the region looking for a bargain. Fort Myers is roughly a 1-hour drive from Rotonda. A ½ hour drive North of Rotonda, towards Sarasota, you will arrive in Venice. This is a very up-market district with prices to match! The exquisite boutiques, galleries and outlets of Venice are always worth a visit. |
