Restaurants


Choices are endless when it comes to good restaurants in the area. Whatever you feel like eating, a suitable restaurant will not be far away. Some of the best fish you will ever taste is served up at The Fisheries Restaurant in Placida, and with a gorgeous view across the bayou to Boca Grande. Johnny Leverock's along the 776 is also a great fish restaurant situated at Pine Island Marina.



The upscale sophisticated town of Boca Grande has many renowned restaurants; Temptations and The Pink Elephant are two popular favorites. Loons On A Limb is a great place for breakfast, especially if you like pancakes drizzled with Maple Syrup, eggs Sunnyside up and strong coffee.

South Beach Restaurant towards the southern end of Boca Grande is known for its wonderful hospitality, menu choice and location. Situated right on the beach, this restaurant is another very popular destination for locals and, once you have re-fuelled, there is nothing better than kicking off your shoes and taking a stroll along the beach.

Just inside the Venice Inlet on the Intercoastal Waterway you will find the Crow's Nest Restaurant & Tavern. The first floor holds the casual, cozy, intimate Tavern. The tavern menu is served daily from 11am (11.30 in the summer) until 11pm Monday - Thursday, Midnight on Friday & Saturday, and until 10pm on Sunday.

 For a meal or a late night snack, this is the place. There is live music every Friday & Saturday nights. On the second floor is the romantic, upscale dining room with a panoramic view of the Intercoastal Waterway. Dining room lunch hours are 11am (11.30 in the summer) until 3pm or until 4.30 pm on the outside deck. Dinner is served from 4.30pm (5pm in the summer) until 10pm Monday - Saturday, 9pm on Sunday.
Walk-ins are welcome, reservations are suggested.


The Fishermans Village in Punta Gorda is home to many restaurants including The Captain's Table on the 2nd level overlooking Charlotte Harbour. It offers fine dining with seafood, steaks and unique specialties leading the list of entrée's.

Also at Fishermans Village is Harpoon Harry's. It offers fun and entertainment and is situated at the very end of the promenade pier in an open air atmosphere. Enjoy live music, casual dining and a full service bar featuring happy hour and breathtaking sea views.


All the familiar fast food restaurants are also within the local vicinity including Applebee's, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Denny's, Wendy's and Pizza Hut.
